 Recording in progress... Saturday, 9/27/08 Taking a break from performances to concentrate on finishing up the album. Some of the songs practically recod themselves. Now it's just a simple matter of recording the rest of it... =read more= Solo acoustic set this Friday Tuesday, 6/17/08 at the Red Vic on Haight! =read more= Recording has begun! Saturday, 5/24/08 The rehearsal studio where I record is quiet until about 10:30am or so. After that, other bands start showing up and pounding the drums in the adjacent rooms. So over the next few weekends I'm setting the alarm for 6:30am, brewing up a whole thermos full of coffee, and heading down there to record. Got the acoustic guitar down for the first few songs today. =read more= Stork Club Monday, 4/14/08 this Friday... =read more= Unlpugged this Tuesday Friday, 2/29/08 Early next week we're playing at the El Rio's Tuesday night front-room series, where they move the pool table aside and have the bands set up by the bar to play acoustic versions of their regular sets. Kerri. You. Rock. =read more= December descends Monday, 11/26/07 Hot off the heels of our balls-to-the-wall Make Out Room show (thanks everyone) and we're back to work on our album, due out in 2008. We've figured out most of the songs to be included, and we've also got a title for the thing: To Hell with Haunted Houses. Now it's just a matter of getting it down on tape. Stay tuned... =read more= Smiley's show canceled Saturday, 10/20/07 Update: The show up in Bolinas on 10/26 ain't happening y'all. At least not right now. Unforeseen circumstances involving a key organizer of the gig being stranded in the heartland with a dead engine in his truck have made the show unadvisable at this time. Additionally, the band's psychic has recommended that The Faulty Plum refrain from any public appearance whatsoever until after Halloween, when the planet Mercury comes out of retrograde.
